Natterings, Notions
and
Notes

I had a hard time getting up again... just can't get enough sleep!

The boss had asked me to come in early, so I was there at 08:00, and I had time to call the computer place... ummmm... the line has been disconnected.

So I called the cops, and an officer came down and took a report. He gave me a piece of paper to take in to the bank tomorrow, and he thought that the bank would probably give me the money back. But what does he know about banks, he's a cop? He was really nice, and I was surprised that they would send someone instead of making me go down and filling out a lot of paperwork.

It was a pretty busy day, and I didn't have much time to think about it, but I went by the shop before I came home... it had a sign up saying that they were closed while they moved to Wanamaker. No address, no phone number... really looks phoney from here.

I think that this must've been their plan from the start... getting credit card and bank card numbers. As I mentioned, they used the old carbon imprinter machine, which I thought was odd, and I commented on it to the guy when I bought the power supply. I don't remember what his reply was....

And Karen had some good news from the St. Francis bills... *they* probably owe us money! This is according to someone in a different department at BC/BS, the people that do dual coverages.

I should've got off at 16:00, since I went in early and had a no-lunch, but every time I would get ready to go home there would be another patient. Finally, about 17:15 I left. There was a "STAT" floor patient coming down... but I'd sent for them at 16:45 and they still weren't there, so the evening crew got to do them.

Karen fixed ghoulash for supper, and it was excellent. Her culinary excellence is exceeding all expectations... she watches the food channel a lot! JD is off to KC again, the show that he went to see last night was postponed until tonight....

And I'm exhausted. I think that I'll take my shower tonight, and tomorrow morning I'm going to be at the bank when they open.

Well, crap. They don't open until 09:30, which'll make me an hour late for work. I might just try to do it over the phone.

Thanx for being here!
