Karen turned the damned heat up so I have to run around half-nekkid... means that I have to turn the cam off, and actually, it's not usually very flattering anyway. Not that I need flattery or anything like that, but that's different from holding oneself up for ridicule. And I do need to find a new place for it too, the angle adds poorly to the effect.
68-72F is just about right for human habitations, and 80F is way too hot. One more day left in this year... and for me, it's been an OK year. For the United States it's been a pretty crummy year, though. And Karen and I still don't know what we're doing to celebrate the arrival of 2002, if anything. Today we got up late again, and read the paper and drank coffee. Ate a little breakfast and then I got really tired and laid down to take a nap, but that didn't work so I got up and watched football. I stayed up way too late last night, so I did have an excuse for being tired... I don't have any excuse for watching football, though. The Chiefs won, but just barely. The rest of the day... well, I've pretty much wasted it. Catching up on all of the goings-on at the about.com atheism forum. It's been several weeks since I've spent any time there... Tomorrow is gonna be a weird work-day, since I'm going in at 07:00. I'm hoping that it won't be too busy, 'cause I'm not gonna have much help... I'm just really hoping that I'll be able to get up on time! And it's almost 22:00, time for me to get to bed.
