Good night's sleep back in the old waterbed. Excellent, in fact.
We got up fairly early, then we got a call from Kim... Lacee has a bad cold, could she come over? So she did, of course. I decided to take a nap about 10:00, and Karen was going to wake me up at noon... but she forgot, and I slept until 15:00. When I got up, I found her and Lacee sound asleep on the couch. I was supposed to be off again tomorrow, but I think that I'll go ahead and work and save that day for later. I'm getting really short on days, I'm used to not using my vacation 'cause I was off every other week... but I don't have that any more, and I think that if I use days for x-mas and new years I'll be completely out, so I'll probably work both of those days. Double time, too... if I can persuade the people that have them to give them up, anyway. Most people would like to be off on the holidays, and so would I, but reality must be faced. And reality sucks. At any rate, vacation is over, and it was a nice one, even though I didn't get to see enough of JD and Tyler, I would have liked to spend a coupla more days in Texas with them.
