Natterings, Notions
and
Notes

Sunday, 18 November, 2001 18:56

I spent most of the day at the hospital, saving lives... starting at 02:45 this morning.

Which was OK, since I had my alarm set for 03:00 anyway. However, I noticed as I stepped out the door that it was raining. Furthermore, it was raining from clouds... clouds that were obscuring my view of the meteors.

It was a short trip in, I got home about 03:45. It wasn't raining, and there were a few breaks in the clouds. I spent about ten minutes outside watching... and the only one that I saw was in the first minute. The sky soon was sealed again, so I went in and went back to sleep.

I was called again about 10:00, then I came home and I was here for about ten minutes before I was called again.

Once I got to the hospital, I had clocked out twice and had them page me before I left the parking lot. I finally got home for about fifteen minutes before I got called again.

So I spent a lot of travelling time... but I've been home now since 17:00 without a call, and there's another tech who comes on at 19:00 who does CTs, so I might be home free. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I think that my bronchitis has finally left me. I still have a little wheezing, but that's mostly gone, and my rib is getting a chance to heal. Although I did sneeze once today and it was very painful... it's been a coupla days since it's really hurt, and I'd forgotten how much pain sneezing causes. Now I remember.

Occasionally, I check to see where people who hit this page come from, to see who's linked to me. On today's list was http://english.pravda.ru/politics/2001/11/16/21106.html, which is the English translation of the political section of Pravda. I'm very confused about this. I couldn't find a link to nilknarf on the page, so I assume that it was a transitional link or something like that. Which is even more confusing....

Anyway, I'm glad that I'm feeling better, although I wish that I wasn't so worn out. I'm bound to get better, though, I just know it. Positive attitude, etc.

Unfortunately, tomorrow is Monday....

Thanx for being here!
