So OK, I'm doing those last-minute things now. Actually, I've done most of them... Except for one little detail: I waited until tonight to make reservations at the hotel in Chicago. And, of course, there were no rooms to be had. I sent out an appeal to the journal-con list, and I got a reply back from a lady who made a reservation but couldn't go... I guess that she hasn't cancelled yet, but I have no idea how to change the reservation from her name to mine, or whatever it is that needs doing. At any rate, if I don't have a reservation, I might just skip the whole thing, although I would really hate to. But I don't want to wind up in Chicago with no place to go to, either. While I was looking for something completely different, I found a bunch of fall/winter shirts that Tyler had left behind... large shirts, ones that fit me! So I washed them up and I'll start wearing them, 'cause many of my good long-sleeve are a little short in the girth lately.... Thanx, Tyler! I hope to be updating from Cleveland, and I'm sure that the hotel there will have internet access. Tomorrow night, I'm gonna be staying at a cheap place somewhere on the road, so I probably won't update then. And now... I've worn myself out, I'm gonna get some sleep.
