Busy day again, but I'm not as tired as I was last night. I didn't mention that after I came home last night, I went almost immediately to bed and slept straight through until 06:00. And yesterday wasn't all that bad, either. Well, I did have to work late, 'cause I was on call.
Karen had her dental work done today, and she looks a lot like a chipmunk tonight. She had to go from the oral surgeons to the dentist, then she went to pick up some darvons at the drug store, and she saw that the tooth that her temporary crown went on was really discolored and ugly... the new temp crown fit on it differently than the old one did. So she went back to the dentist and made him fix it. The dentist also took another film of her opposite side, and this time he saw an infection at the bottom of the root... it just wasn't big enough to show up before. But the tooth has crooked roots, so he can't do it... so Karen has to go back to the oral surgeon again. They couldn't work her in today, so it'll probably be tomorrow. But she's got the pain pills... problem is, she shouldn't operate heavy machinery when she's taking them, and she maybe shouldn't even be trying to stand up. We started out to take a short walk, and it was much shorter than we planned. Fluffy, or whatever the hell name that cat goes by, decided that she would follow along, crying all of the way. We got about a block, just past the creek, when we decided to turn around and take her home. On the way back, Karen almost fell twice... we decided to call it a night. I did get some good news tonight... JD and Annette are coming up to visit tomorrow! Annette has a new job, and she starts that next Wednesday, and JD starts back to school on Tuesday (or maybe it's the other way around) so they have some time to spend with us. I'm really looking forward to seeing them, and Karen is anxious to meet Annette. Supposed to rain starting tonight and possibly all day tomorrow. Today was a pretty nice day, with the high probably around 90F and light breezes... I'm on call again tomorrow night, I hope that I don't have to spend too much time there, since JD and Annette will be here... I'm also going to try to get either Thursday or Friday off, so I can spend more time with them. Don't know if that'll work or not, since I was off last week... but I'm gonna try!
