It rained last night! A Bunch! Like, somewhere between one and two inches, anyway. More importantly, it thundered and lighteninged. That was about 04:00, I think, although I'm rather hazy about that. The lightning/thunder were, respectively, bright and, uh, thunderous. I would have found them exciting had I been awake, but I really wasn't. The electricity went off briefly, and I remember thinking that I needed to wake up and reset the clocks, but Karen's went off at 05:30, so I figgered that mine would work too. Wrong... it was blinking when I finally looked at it. And Karen's clock said 08:30, dammit.... which meant that I'd overslept by more than an hour. I did get to work on time, though, but it was a rush. Hectic day again, but things cleared out and we had several patients cancel this afternoon... so I came home early. Yep. Left at 15:30... they didn't have to ask me twice. One of the bennies of working days. So I basically wasted that time... but I did enjoy not working, I guess, so it wasn't entirely wasted...
