Pretty mellow day. Good thing, 'cause I got a lousy night's sleep again. Damned cats. And I'm not really thinking friendly thoughts about the people who let them in the bedroom, either.
I didn't get called until 15:30 or so, one of the daytime techs is learning to do CTs and did everything that was ordered during his shift. So I had about five exams that I did from 15:30 to 17:30, and no more since then. Of course, the night guy came on at 19:00 and he'll do all of the CTs now unless he gets really busy. Another nice day, but a little warmer. We turned on the AC about mid-afternoon and it's nicer inside than out right now... I haven't watched the weather lately, so I have no idea what's coming up this week. Well, yes I do... Patrick's birthday is tomorrow! His last year before becoming a teenager. Twenty years ago today the skywalk at the Hyatt-Regency in KC collapsed, killing 140-some people. I had plans of doing some stuff around here this weekend, and I probably could've done something today, but yesterday wore me out. Some days just being awake wears me out. And not sleeping wears me out... no, it's not quite the same thing. Karen is dozing on the couch, and I'm gonna make it a very early night too. I just need to go into the living room and turn off the TV and get Karen on her feet...
