Natterings, Notions
and
Notes

Not a bad day. Karen got home, she said, about 01:30, and she didn't wake me up coming to bed.

She said that the concert was fantastic, and Lacee was bananas. I guess that's the way it was supposed to be... the concert was at the Chief's stadium, and it was almost packed. It holds about as many people as Topeka does, but not as comfortably...

Speaking of comfortable, it almost was today. i think that the high temp was around 90F... unfortunately, the rain has been missing us. The area that got ten inches a week ago got about five last night... that's twenty miles northeast of here.

We got... nothing. Nothing, I tell you, Nothing!

Thunderstorms in the same area tonight. Forming 30-40 miles NE of here and moving away south and east.

It's Just. Not. Fair.

O'well, life goes on. The grass might be dying, but some things live on. Lisa, whom I mentioned yesterday, and JD planted some "Moon Flowers" about six or seven years ago, and a couple of them have survived. The picture today is one of them, the other hasn't bloomed yet but it will soon.

On call tonight, been called in twice so far, but I think that's it for the night most likely.

Smoking... still not doing that. Tomorrow morning will be two weeks, and I'm starting to get a wee bit optimistic about it. My cough is starting to go away finally... I've been looking forward to that.

O'yeah... my current record for most wins in a row with Free Cell is 648. This is probably a world record, but I doubt that anyone is going to drop in with a prize...

Thanx for being here!
