Damned liquidweb, I'm still down. Nilknarf.net is down, I mean. Well, it's not down right now, but I can't upload any new entries, so the one from the first of July is still up there. And no damned e-mail, either. They have an 800-number, I'm gonna make use of it tomorrow morning. I got called at 07:00 this morning... a false alarm, kinda. The guy working nights picked it up for me. But I got another call at 09:00 about an ICU patient that they wanted done in the afternoon. I went in about 13:00 to do that one, and I did an ER one while I was there. Didn't get called again until about 17:00, an hour after I'd laid down to take a short nap. Went in for one patient, wound up doing three. After I got home it was time to go to Kim's house, where the food was. So Tyler and I follow Karen over... I have to drive in case I get called, or if I just get tired of being there. It didn't really take too long to get tired of being there... Tyler and I came home for a coupla hours, then went back as it got close to dark. Just for the helluvit, I took along the digital camera. Unfortunately, it has a delay before the exposure is made, so I didn't get many really good ones. The one on the page has been rendered in PS, just 'cause it would've been so plain otherwise... and it's still pretty plain. It didn't take me long to shoot up the 68 hi-res images, so I put the camera away and enjoyed the show for a while. Soon, however, I got bored and my neck started getting stiff, so Tyler and I came back home again. Karen followed us shortly... she'd had enough of the day. She had been out at Matt's swimming and she now has a sunburn. I felt sorry for her, and I don't usually feel sorry for people who injure themselves doing stupid things. Back to work tomorrow. Karen made some salsa for me to take in to work tomorrow... she makes it from some secret ancient aztec recipe that she found locked in her father's safe. Or maybe it was in Good Housekeeping, I forget which... damned good stuff, though. I hope that everyone has a good and happy and safe holiday.
