So! Two pretty girls two days in a row! The birthday girl looks pretty happy about her roses, doesn't she?
Long day... I went in at 08:00 and we pretty much ran until about 13:30, and then it slacked off a bunch. Karen and Lacee came to visit me about the time it started getting busy again, and I was there until 18:00 or so. Then, about five minutes after I got home, I got paged to come in again. Coming home the second time, I had a whole hour before I had to go in again... Kinda like last night... I forgot to mention that I was called in a coupla times. I'm not really sure that I like taking call a week at a time... sleep is sacrificed. Got the e-mail going again finally, and now I've got a large backlog of messages that I have to keep up with... but I'm too tired to start on them tonight, only the important ones. I'm kinda worried about my cardiologist appointment tomorrow... I've actually been having pain for about six weeks and simply denying it to myself. Been taking it really easy physically to keep from having to face the facts, 'know. I did try to not smoke today, made it until noon before I bummed a cigarette. I've only smoked about five today, which is a vast improvement, but not good enough, I know. Maybe tomorrow I'll have enough motivation to just quit? My dentist appointment is for 08:10, and the cardiologist at 10:00, so I better get to bed now.
