I got about twelve hours of sleep today in two segments, separated by about an hour of semi-awakening... damned good for a Wednesday.
JD was awake when I got up about 17:30, sitting here watching TV. I made coffee and got a bowl of cereal. He'd been up since 14:30, and he'd stayed up until about 06:00 to watch a storm come in, but it never did. Karen finally made it home about 18:30... she'd told me that she was planning on leaving about 13:00, but she stayed most of the afternoon anyway. Betty is finally and completely moved, and very unhappy. And so is Karen, and so is Debbie. Unhappy, that is. JD just left with his friend Mike to go to Lawrence and play trivia at one of the bars... Mike says that he makes money doing this. I was invited to go along and compete but alas, I have to work instead. And speaking of work, I need to get on the ball here and get stuff together...
