First things first: To my dear Mother, Happy Mother's day, and I thank you for all that you have done.
I also want to wish any other mothers, and also any of you who have (or had) mothers a happy mother's day too.
OK... did I miss anybody?
Someday I want to write a book about how wonderful my mother is. It would be a big book, though.
Yesterday... it was yet another of those almost-sleepless days. I'm stringing a bunch of those in a row here, and I'm getting tired of it. Anyway, I got to sleep about 09:00 and I awoke at 12:00 or thereabouts. Tried to sleep the rest of the day, didn't work.
Something's gotta give.
However... last night was another pleasant surprise... it wasn't busy, no traumas. As usual (with this particular doc) I x-rayed or CTed every patient that came into the ED, but people mostly stayed away for some wonderful reason.
Additionally, it was a beautiful night (following the beautiful day that I couldn't enjoy) although it was pretty hazy. Cool, too, nice and brisk.
OK, I'm gonna get ten hours of sleep today. If that means that I can't sleep again tomorrow, so be it.
