Rotten days sleep yesterday. Does the sleep time after you hit the snooze alarm really count for anything? I really think that it doesn't. I hit it five times before I got up last night.
And once again, it was run run run... until about 01:30. This is a major change... I didn't run *all* night!
It's supposed to be another pleasant day... the last one for a while. That's only natural, since my week off is coming up. Thunderstorms tonight, then sharply colder, the weatherlady said.
May already. And I haven't even got the April flowers planted yet. Or the grass, either. I'm just too damned lazy, that's the problem.
I've got a doctors appointment tomorrow morning, but before that I've got to take Fluffy (the cat/kitten) in to get spayed and declawed. She has to be NPO from 22:00 tonight, I wonder how Karen is going to handle that...
O'yeah... no word on whether I could get off tonight, so I guess that I'm going in at 19:00 as usual, dammit. But right now I've got to get showered and shaved and get my good clothes on to go to Clark's funeral. Not looking forward to that, it's in a church. i was already in a church once this year, isn't that enough? I guess not. It's a lutheran church, anyway, which is mostly the opposite of a catholic church, so the effects will be neutralized, I guess.
Besides, churches don't scare me... it's the people that go to churches that I worry about. And not even most of them...
Interesting... natural gas /electricity prices go down, gasoline goes up. It's always something. Milk prices have been quietly going up, too, a penny or two a gallon a month. Probably to pay for their advertising... remember when gas stations used to give away premiums? Glasses, silverware... trying to get the business. Full service. All you had to do was pull out your billfold and pay the thirty cents a gallon... they'd wash the windshield, check the oil... I did that for about a year. It was kinda fun, but not really. I like what I'm doing now better, and I'm getting paid better too. But it's still service with a smile!
My supervisor just called, I don't have to go in until 23:00... so I'll sleep later and be more rested for the chores tomorrow.
