I did get a good days sleep yesterday, and I had a pretty easy night last night, too.
That, of course, doesn't keep me from being tard. I was born tard and I'll die tard, but it ends there... I hope.
Gonna be a nice spring day today... some showers, but warmish. Supposed to get up to 80F by Thursday, which means that I need to get some outside work done... and there's a lot that needs doing.
I always look forward to mowing the lawn the first time... then I'm done with it. All of the enjoyment of lawn-mowing gets used up that first time in the spring, then it's someone else's turn. Alas, there is no one else.
Right now, though, there will be no grass unless I get busy and plant it... which I need to get done this week off. Then, with luck, it'll get a good start before the dry weather starts.
I also want to get some flowers in the planters out front. I think that I might get some of those roll-up pre-fertilized wild-flower things. I guess that I need to go see how much they cost first, before I commit myself...
I have a dentist appointment Wednesday at 08:00, and my first night of taking CT call will be Thursday night. I think that we get two bucks an hour just for taking call, then time-and-a-half if we get called in, plus a half-hour travel time.
It is pretty unlikely that I'll get called in, though... the other night tech is as good as I am about trying to get everything done without any help. Multiple major trauma is the most likely cause of CT people getting called in at night. At least, when either Sherry or I are on...
I need to go get a carton of smokes, then get to bed. The smoke place doesn't open until 09:00, damn 'em. Should be open at 07:00, is my opinion. Everywhere should be open at 07:00, solely for my convenience.
