I just got back from Lacee's skating birthday party. She was having a blast, and I got to meet a couple of her little friends. I only stayed a half-hour, though, begging off to come home and sleep.
But I thought that I'd better write this first... then sleep. Unfortunately, I got a good nights sleep last night, going to bed at 23:00 and sleeping until 09:00 this morning, so I'll be lucky to get a coupla hours in. But I dunno... right now I do feel like I need a long nap!
I'd promised Mom that I'd have an image of Jeff up today, but Karen put the pictures somewhere and I can't find them. When we left Wichita, Karen accidentally picked up a package of Debbies pictures of Jeff and his GF... I do hope that she hasn't sent them back yet.
I haven't got hardly any email since yesterday, and none from my favorite groups, so I'm afraid that I've been unsubbed because their e-mails were rejected by the server being down... that will make me very unhappy. I could find out by sending test messages, but I really hate to do that. So I'll just wait and see.
Not like I'm expecting anything earthshaking or anything like that. By the way, if you've emailed me in the past 48 hours and not gotten a reply, please resend it!
I'm kinda looking forward to getting back to work. I know, that's an odd thing for me to say... but sometimes I feel like when I'm not working I have no purpose. The purpose should be to enjoy not working, but I don't do that very well. Enjoy it, I mean. Let's face it, I'm a working machine, and just 'cause the parts are breaking down...
OK... off to nap, or a least to give it a good try...
Anyhoo, here's Lacees' picture from yesterday. I also took one of Patrick, which I'll put up tomorrow, along with one of Jeff, if I can. Lacees' birthday isn't until the 22nd, but the public celebration is today. We'll probably have to buy her another present for the 22nd...
