Karen and I had a nice night, but I didn't get a nap. After we went to bed I couldn't sleep and I got up again until about 02:30... I played FreeCell long enough to make me sleep.
I think that Karen got up early and went to work, but I didn't get up until after 08:00. Drank a pot of coffee and cleaned up the kitchen, spent time on the atheist/agnostic forun at about.com.
It's a beautiful day right now, temp probably 60F, SW wind, full sunshine... the maple trees are dropping those little buds all over the place, and the birds are gathering and leaving their presents all over the decks...
Karen's not back from work yet, and when she does get here, we're off to Wichita. Jeff has a laptop that he wants me to work on to get AOL (ugh!) running, so I'm taking along a parallel cable to hook him up to their main machine. He bought this laptop using his lawn-mowing money but it doesn't have a CD drive... he's running WIN95 and I can't remember if it does the parallel-connect thing or not. But it's worth a try, anyway.
And the car must be running OK, at least Karen didn't mention that it wasn't.
I'll probably miss tomorrow, but we'll be back on Monday... Karen has the day off.
