Natterings, Notions
and
Notes

Three more nights... back to the twelves now. Three more nights.

Once again, I didn't get much sleep yesterday, or very good sleep, either. About five hours, it was.

Today will be different. Eight at least.

Last night was OK... not really busy, just steady all night. A few drunks, a few really sick people.

And I did maintain a pretty good attitude most of the night. When I got up at 14:30 yesterday, I told myself that I wasn't going to get in a bad mood because I didn't sleep... and, for a change, I listened to myself.

Now that I'm home, I'm anxious to take my pills and get to sleep. I did get a script for an antibiotic finally. My sinuses are doing funny this time, they're still draining, so I don't have the face pain, but still, that thick green snot tells me that I'm getting into trouble. Hopefully I haven't put off the pills for too long.

Supposed to be nice today, not that I'll appreciate it any, but maybe Karen will. And the east is supposed to get the biggest snowstorm in 30 years, according to NPR. Glad I'm here in Kansas.

That last sentence is not to be construed as a blanket statement, this is just in reference to this one weather incident this one time. Generally speaking, I'd just as soon be somewhere else. But not in Oklahoma or Texas.

OK, off to bed I go!

Thanx for being here!
