Coupla-three things on my mind lately.
Hammering the protesters checkbooks is a good way to make them stay at home.
Posters and guns in a rural community... bomb stuff... well, the bomb stuff is a little over-the-line, maybe. But I do recall my brother and I making bombs (I guess that you could call them that) in Oklahoma in the 50's.
Anyway... guilty until proven innocent, I guess. Better safe than sorry. Better that we all lose a little more of our freedom than allow one innocent kid to be harmed.... (this is sarcasm, folks....)
I got the server configured right and now I'm all connected. Loading software, one of the main programs that I want to use (voice recognition) won't work on W2K, and I'm disappointed. Gotta go looking for one that does.
21:58...
We got about 4-5 inches of snow, and it's really pretty, of course. Callie (ustabe BabyCat) loves playing in fresh snow, and she's so fun to watch. The wind started picking up some and was blowing dry leaves across the top os the snow, and she was having a ball catching those leaves!
Well, I guess that I'll call it a night.
It's a night.
Gloomy day, but most of the snow appears to be veering north. I took Karen to work this morning and it had rained, sleeted and froze on the roads. She's delivering girl scout cookies, and needed help carrying them in. I damned near lost a leg getting back into the car, I was mostly in and my left foot slipped and my leg splayed under the door. Hurt like hell for a while, but it's OK now.
Long day... playing with computers, watching it snow. Even had a long nap, but not long enough, since I want to stay up all night tonight, or at least close to it.
