I got a pretty good days sleep yesterday, in spite of the fact that Steve didn't come after Lacee until 11:00. I slept from about 12:00 to 19:30, good enough for most days.
On average, I probably get more sleep than most people who don't work nights... I just get it very irregularly. Seven and a half hours is about right for me for maintenance, I think. Seems that I read recently somewhere that six and a half is the average for people in the united states in general, and five for night workers.
Last night wasn't too bad at work, either... in fact, I didn't have any CTs at all, which is very unusual. I did have a buncha portable chest x-rays in the ICU, though. Still a lot of sick people up there... in fact, the census has been setting records the last several weeks. A high census doesn't really affect me much, but it does the day people. What affects me is the ICU census and the people who come through the ED doors at night.
Looks like baby bush is picking up where daddy bush left off with Saddam, maybe he'll go ahead and finish the sonovabitch off.
Since I'm thinking about politics... maybe we otta go back and investigate Fords pardon of Nixon, see if there were any political favors involved there... heh heh.

Anyway... cold here, about zero, I think. Supposed to get up to 45F today, though. Spring is coming! Spring is coming!
