Natterings, Notions
and
Notes

Well, I guess that I worked too hard yesterday, or I slept wrong or something like that... bad, bad back. Thoracic spine and right shoulder hurt like hell, but I sure don't remember doing anything in particular. O the joys of ageing!

Or maybe it's just being out of shape.

Anyway, it was too cold today to get any more work done outside anyway. I think that the high was something like 34F maybe. And... I just heard coming home that we were supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow tonight.

I was coming home from Drews birthday party. That's daddy Andy in the background. Drew is five years old today, and he's right happy about it. We had his party at... shakeys pizza? Hell, I can't remember the name of the place, not that it matters.

The usual crowd was there, but Patrick was sick and had to stay home. I managed to stay more than an hour, and I kinda enjoyed myself. Their pizza has improved a whole bunch since the last time that I was there, thankfully.

Karen just got home and informed me that it's Chuck-e-cheeze. Usta be Shakeys, years and years ago.

Karen had mentioned a coupla days ago that she wanted a polaroid camera... she wants her pictures immediately, like we all do. Anyway, I talked her into a digital camera, and Sears had one on sale for $100 off. We still have credit at Sears... one of the few places that we do have anymore. So I went out today in my stove-up condition and got it. It's a Toshiba 2.1 megapixel, and I pretty much like it. So, there will be more pictures here in the future... well, starting now.

PatrickLacee But first... some scans of Lacee and Patricks' school pictures... really cute, but I don't know why Patrick isn't wearing one of his own shirts instead of one that he got from that Hilfiger kid...

Shortly after I got home I got a call from the hospital... they want me to work tonight, and I said yes, of course. I did get a little nap today, about two hours' worth. So I'll go in at 23:00 and work until 07:00.

Jaren and the new kitty Well, OK... one more picture. This one is of Karen and the new kitten. Karen's face is almost back to normal, and her leg is feeling better, although she said that it hurt a bunch this afternoon. Her spirits are much better now that she's gone back to work... that's kinda funny. She doesn't really like to work. I guess it's just getting back in the groove.

Thanx for being here!
