Stayed up damn near all night last night, got to sleep at about 05:30 or so... probably closer to 06:00, 'cause I remember Karens' alarm clock going off several times.
And I had a helluva headache when I got up too. Got up about 10:00 to take something for it and never got back to sleep. I had lots of stuff to get done today and all I did was mow the leaves in the front.
Instead of picking up the mulched leaves, I think that I'll just rake the debris out and let it set all winter... I'm gonna need to reseed in the spring anyway, give having a real lawn another try.
Tomorrow I'll scan Patrick and Lacees' latest school pictures... they're pretty good, showing Lacees' toothless smile.
My headache is still there off and on, but mostly off now. Karen and I were watching the KC Chiefs' play their particular brand of loser-ball... this'll be five in a row that they've lost. Karen is still watching, but I've given up in disgust.
We've got a cat problem... there's a big yellow cat that reminds me a lot of Majik (long deceased) in that he's mean. This cat is alive, though, and he's started coming in the cat door and terrorizing the other cats, so I think that I'll block off the cat door for a while so he can't come in and eat. He'll get the message and find someplace else to hang around.
I need to get to bed earlier tonight so I can get stuff done tomorrow, my last full day off. I had thought about calling in to see if there were any open hours, but I decided against it. If they get desperate, they'll call me.
