Well, this is getting scary.
Four nights with no excitement... four relatively boring nights. It can't last, and I'm getting nervous waiting for the dam to break. Trouble is, I can't enjoy the calm, because I know that it has to end, and when it does, it'll be a bloody mess.
Anyway... weather is cold and cloudy, but it looks like we'll miss the snow and sleet that was forecast.
I'm currently involved in setting up a computer for Suzanne, a girl at work, that Joe is giving her... it's his old one, he's planning on getting a new system this week. I've been helping him research, and the prices are amazing on computer hardware. If you want to go just below the cutting edge (by several months) you can get an excellent system for $1500, monitor included.
My next step is going to be a motherboard with probably a 700+ Athelon, probably cost around $400 or so... about what I paid for this 450 a coupla years ago.
About the election... it really appears that some major work needs to be done on our voting system. Damn, I mean, three different numbers on three counts? WTF is up with that? There's got to be a better way...
On the current situation, of course, they should do pistols at ten paces... no, make that five paces, I don't know how good either of them would be... anyway, there would be no sore losers.
So what is, really, the will of the people? I think that, for this round, it is that it should be over and done with already. That's *MY* will, anyway. I don't care, at this point, who gets it. As long as it's not Bush.
