I had a good day's sleep yesterday... I guess that I'll just alternate good days with bad ones.
Last night, however, was another good one. Not hardly busy at all... that's three in a row. Probably have multiple code reds tonight, beings as it's Friday... luckily, the eagle doesn't fly until Monday or Tuesday.
As I mentioned Monday, my counterpart hurt her shoulder, and that's why I worked Monday and Tuesday nights. Anyway, she won't find out if she can come back until Monday when she sees her doc again... there's a possibility that she won't be able to work her next rotation. So I volunteered to work most of them. Lotsa OT ahead maybe...
I'm feeling a lot better today... about midnight I realized that I didn't seem feverish, and, when I thought about it, I felt pretty damned good! Pretty scary, actually. Still got some of the bronchitis though, that doesn't go away very fast in the best of times.
Headlines this morning about the submariner's note... that is gut-wrenching. What a horrible way to die, and how terrible for his relatives and friends. Of course, those guys know what can happen, and it's volunteer, at least in our navy... but all the same.
JD and Tyler have a gig in Dallas again this weekend, I wish them luck and fun...
