Better. Better all of the way around... got some sleep, and they didn't run me to death either.
Starting on the twelves, though. And I've done so rethinking about working extra on my days off... I think that I'll take four days off instead of two. I want to get some stuff done around here, and it'll take me a coupla days just to unwind enough to think about doing stuff.
I came home this morning and found Brian and Drew here... I knew Brian would be here, but Drew was a nice surprise. We don't really see that much of him, compared to the others, anyway.
There was another execution-style killing here in Topeka yesterday... a coupla guys broke into a house and killed an 19-year old while his mother and grandmother watched. That's the second one in two days... the mother that watched her son get killed works at the hospital... I often see her coming in early. Damned shame.
Rained last night. Pretty good rain, too. We need about ten more rains like that...
Foggy this morning, though. I love fog, but I hate working when it's foggy. People just don't seem to get the idea that things lurk in the fog, waiting to jump out in front of them... other idiots, trees, signs... people just outdrive their headlights... or they drive with their bright lights on, which makes it even worse for them. And everyone else.
I'm sure that there'll be more people in the ICU when I go back in tonight, people with poor driving skills and little sense... well, there can't be more, they're full up, have been for the last week... but different people.
Ah, I'll worry about that when I get there. Bed now.
