I was only up until about 03:00 this morning, although I was planning on staying up all night. I attribute this to the fact that I was studying and not playing. I can play for a long time, but studying wears out my brain.
I got up at 09:00 and stayed up until past noon... I finished the Harry potter book that I was reading, the second in the series. I read the third one before the second, and now I can buy the last one. Patrick has only read the first one, so now he can read the second and third ones in order.
And then I slept until 18:30, surprising myself. Working on a pot of coffee now... I need to cut my hair and shave and shower and get to work.
Before I went to sleep, I had to turn on the furnace... we had the AC going on Tuesday. There doesn't seem to be any of that in-between nice weather any more, just summer and winter.
When I get home in the morning, I really need to pay the bills and get the checkbook caught up... I've been getting way behind on getting those chores done. Mostly because they're discouraging.
Speaking of discouraging... my latest attempt at quitting smoking ended on the second day of our trip, after I figgered out that the medication was keeping me from sleeping. It's really hard to drive (or ride) for extended periods with nothing to do but think about smoking...
Today's picture is of Lynn and Sam and me and Karen on the beach at Kitty Hawk... or Nag's head, maybe it is. Beaches are fun, and Sam certainly thought so!
