Natterings, Notions
and
Notes

Not quite so busy last night, but enough to keep me awake anyway. Nothing really interesting either.

The weather is really nice... the heat has left us momentarily, I think. Downright cool last night, kinda like autumn... It's supposed to get up to 90F again today, though. I'll be snoozing and miss it. 'S OK, I've seen plenty of hot days this year...

It looks like Gore is pulling ahead steadily. And Bush is starting to panic... I heard him on NPR this morning, talking about the debates. He said something like Gore was a great debater but what America needs is a great leader and that he was looking forward to the debates. I think that Gore is gonna tear him a new one, and I really want to watch.

There are lots of undecided voters in this one, and it seems like the more Bush talks the less people think of him... there are quite a few Republicans that are unhappy with their man.

In local news, there was a roofer who fell through a skylight at a grade school. He evidently tripped and hit the plexiglass over the gym... there were about 20 or so kids in the gym at the time, none of them were hurt, but I'll bet they were scarred for life. The guy fell about 40 feet and was DOA at the other hospital.

Well, I'm off to bed. Have a fun day!

Thanx for being here!
