And it was a very nice Sunday. Karen and I slept until after 10:30... first good sleep that I've got in a while.
It has returned to being hot here, though. No chances of rain for the next few days either...
I've spent most of the evening reading this article about Fred Phelps. Scary stuff. And long... plan for a coupla hours at least for the whole thing.
The mail server for nilknarf.net was down for most of the day, and the web site itself was down for at least a coupla hours. I think that it's time to change server hosts. What I would really like to do would be to set up one of these machines here as a server... I need to check the TOS with roadrunner and see if that's possible at all.
I talked to brother Dan tonight about our upcoming trip to Raleigh... we very seldom speak on the phone, and it was really nice to hear his voice. Karen and I are really looking forward to seeing them and their new poodle.
The last time that Karen and I went to the east coast to see Dan and Lynn was shortly after they had gotten Charley, their first poodle. Charley was a pup, and a rambunctious one. He turned out to be a wonderful dog, and Lynn has put part of that on our heads, so that this one has to turn out good too.
But he can't hardly help it, having Lynn for a mother...
