So, last night was one of those long ones... I don't know why, but I stayed up until maybe noon... or was it 14:00? And I'm not really sure when I got up, either... 18:30 or 19:00, sometime like that.
Last free night for a week, so I probably should try to get some stuff done around here, like clean up the computer room and do some arranging. I want to hook up my turntable so that I can start copying some old LPs, and I want to hook up my old laser printer and see if it'll work with Win2K.
Tyler was by tonight, picked up his check and got a bed and a TV, he'll be sleeping in his new house tonight. He's rooming with three other guys, I hope that it works out for him. They were going to rent an older place near downtown Lawrence but that fell through and they have a place on the west side of town, a newer townhouse with three stories. He'll have at least one roommate with a computer, and he's planning on getting cable and networking them to share the cable connection.
He's actually making pretty good money, but he's been working six and seven days a week and right now Manpower is taking a cut (before he sees it, of course...) he's hoping to get on regular full-time there.
The smoking outside is really inconvenient, just what I needed, I've been smoking way too much lately and this has cut down on it considerably...
I think that I'll start working now, before I can get to the computer room I have to enter about a hundred scraps of paper into Quicken....
