And I slept until noon today. I really wasn't meaning to, but it was so nice just sleeping... I very seldom do that.
Yeah, I should have been out mowing the yard and doing stuff. But I needed the sleep, too. And, of course, by the time I got around, it was too warm out to do anything...
Plus I have a web site that I have to work on... gotta go see the business owner tomorrow afternoon, and I wanted to have something up. So I spent the afternoon working on style sheets and DHTML. Stuff that I would never use on this site, 'cause I like to keep things simple, but it's stuff that other people want.
And I need to figger out how to do graphics with motion and sound, too. Flash... that's a whole 'nother deal, I'm afraid. Although there is a simpler way of accomplishing the same thing... it's still going to be a lot of work.
Or maybe not.
I'm getting lotsa hits on the Napster page again, so I thought I'd put up my latest Napster thoughts; I'm getting a lot of click-throughs to this page, too. I've been kinda watching the stats all day, and I'm amazed. Of course, I get amazed easily, it seems like... but I've got over 250 hits on the napster index page, and over 70 here... breaking records on both sites. Which is nothing, really, compared to sites that get a million hits a day, but it's thrilling for me.
Moving right along here... it never rained last night, not a drop. The big storms came from the north, went east of Topeka, then west again, effectively wetting everything but my lawn...
And tonight looks pretty much the same. Big, big storms to the west, but they'll probably go south of here. O'well.
I watched a really good show on free speech tonight on ABC, one of the few times that I've watched commercial TV lately. George Carlin was on it, and I was made aware that it was going to be on via the atheist_only mailing list that I'm on. George Carlin, as you may or may not know, is a staunch atheist...
And it's getting late and I need to go to bed, but I don't really feel like it... but Lacee will be over here at 07:00 in the morning, so I need to be ready to get up and around by then.
