Another crappy night... Just can't sleep nights worth a damn any more.
The schedule this last month has probably screwed me up for life... well, that's what I'll tell the boss, anyway, just so that she'll feel properly guilty. I've really been screwed up all of my life...
So, I was up at 05:30, but nobody else got up until about 10:00... this is Karen's last day of vacation, so I let her sleep, ain't I sweet?
After JD got up and had coffee, we decided to work outside... it was just a little after noon by then. I was going to cut the weeds in the back while he mowed.
Well, he mowed, all right, but I fell down on my end of the deal... I was soaked and weak-kneed in about 15 minutes, so I came in and cheered him on.
It took him a coupla hours to get the lawn mowed, and it looks really nice, but it needs to get some more water... and it will, next time that it rains.
Time for bed, now... JD has been getting his files arranged (the MP3s) and I've been goofing off. Karen didn't feel like taking Brian home to Lawrence, so he'll be spending the day with JD and me tomorrow... maybe we'll get some work out of him... we'll try, anyway.
