Natterings, Notions
and
Notes

It was a nasty night, according to the amount of work that I had to do, but it was very interesting. I got to learn some stuff, which is always nice...

There were a couple of medical emergencies (as opposed to traumatic emergencies) that I did CT scans on... one of them was figgered out via the CT, the other... well, they're still trying to diagnose that one, or they were when I left.

I think that I did six CTs last night, which is a bunch, considering that each one takes about 45 minutes... then I was working other patients in between doing the CT chores.

But things died off real nicely after about 03:00... had time to do the paperwork and flirt with nurses and smoke...

I woke up yesterday about 17:00 and decided to get up for the night, although there was still plenty of time for sleeping... I felt like I was done.

So I figgered that I'd crash this morning when I got home, and I did... for about two hours. Again, I just kinda felt like I'd had enough sleep. However, from the way I feel right now, I was wrong.

Karen has been off all week, and she really enjoys being off... she's spent a coupla days by herself and one with Lacee... today she's going out with Matt for lunch, he's been off all week too.

JD should be about half-way here by now. He's bring his new computer with him, so that we can do some work on it... and he's also bringing the old one along for me to install Linux on.

22:12...
Still waiting for JD... he said that he thought that they'd be here about 19:00, he was going to have Marta drop him off here before she went to Lawrence, but I guess that didn't happen. On the other hand, they may not have left on time...

I did get in a nice little nap this afternoon, though. Three or four hours... enough to pep me up a little, anyway. Then I made a pot of coffee about 21:00, so I'll probably be up late... but it doesn't matter.

Vacations are neat... neater than work, anyway.

More tomorrow...

Thanx for being here!
