Slept from midnight to about 10:30 this morning... woke up with a headache that has lightened up considerably, but that is still there lurking.
Lotsa weird dreams kept waking me up, but I could go right back to sleep. I can't remember any of them, though. Kinda useless having dreams that you can't remember.
Anyway, I think that I'll just plan on being up from now until I get off work in the morning; that way I won't waste a lot of time trying to sleep and fretting about not being able to. Save myself some grief.
On other fronts... I've got the MySQL database set up on the Linux machine and working well... I guess that it's time to start working on the front end now. But first, I have to decide whether I want to go with PHP or SSI or javascript... I've had some experience with javascript, so that should be my choice, but PHP and SSI (I would have to learn some PERL to do SSI) have some good things to be said about them too... and the nilknarf.net server supports them both, while the javascript depends on the browser having support.
I just spent some time researching PHP... it really looks like the way to go with this. Fairly easy to understand, anyway.
And still other computer-related news... We're now #23 on the SETI list, with 648 units, 2.91 years. It's not so much that we've sped up, but I think that others have slowed down, now that the new has worn off...
I just shaved, took a shower... ready to go to work! But I think that I might try for a nap, anyway... more tomorrow!
