Natterings, Notions
and
Notes

Busy again. Earlier this week, we had lots of asthmatics, under the weather because of the weather... hot, humid, muggy.

So... last night we had storms, and that brought in a bunch of people with abdominal complaints. I did about seven obstructive series, and one of them was positive. And four abdominal CTs, and a coupla brains. I didn't have much time for visiting...

But the rain was welcome. From the looks of things on weather.com, Mom is still getting drenched down in Oklahoma.

And Elian gets to go home... eventually. Maybe.

Who really gives a shit?

And the people in Colorado, Boulder, I think... everyone (well, lotsa people) think that they killed their daughter. Lie detector says no. Well, OK, it's Their lie detector guy, not the FBI one. This is a mystery that will never be solved. If they're lying now, and one of them later confesses (far, far in the future...), who will be able to believe them? And if they're telling the truth, some people won't believe them.

Hell, look at OJ... some people still think that he did it, but who really knows? OJ, he knows. He ain't telling but one story, though.

Well, I almost got off of the subject there. What I meant to say was...

Who really gives a shit?

Nothing that I can do anything about at all. Even just having an opinion sullies my integrity somehow.

Yeah, sometimes I just want to hide my head in the sand. Forget the scandals and sensationalism. Hear just what I want to hear, no more, no less. We win all of the wars, our economy is wonderful, everybody that wants jobs has jobs. Even Tyler has a job.

Fantasy world... that's what I want. And I can't have it, dammit... quit doing those drugs a long time ago.

I can still have dreams, though... no, not those kind, the kind that I have when I sleep. And I think that I'll go have some right now. Just a little nap... I want to maintain some semblance of night working/day sleeping here, so that my system isn't shocked Monday night when I go back. My system is getting way too old to be shocked...

Thanx for being here!
