Natterings, Notions

Notes

Well, the PA was right... them pills pretty much did me in. I hung on until about 16:30 and then I couldn't do it any more... Tyler was out getting the rest of the lawn seeded finally when I went to bed.

The grass in the back is coming up nicely, although there are some thin spots, dammit. Maybe time will help... I hope so, anyway.

I woke up at 01:00 and put yesterday's entry on line and talked with Tyler for a while... he's been staying straight for ten days now, and seems to have a much clearer head... I'm really hoping that will last. Anyway, I went back to bed around 03:00.

I got up this morning before Karen left for work and I'm feeling much better now, probably in part because of the amount of sleep that I was able to snag.

And I have ambitions for this day... mostly getting some painting of trim done in the front. The trim in the back is going to be more problematic, as some parts of the windowsills have rotted out and will have to be partially replaced. That will take more time, since I really don't know what I'm doing there. I haven't completely repainted the trim in the back since we've lived here, and it shows. Lazy, dammit.

Well, to work, to work. More later...

11:55...
No work done yet today... well, no real work. I did write some stuff about Napster, though...

22:44...
Ah, I didn't get any real work done at all today. Instead, I figgered the checkbook. About six hours worth, in fact. I keep telling myself, just do it a few minutes a day... problem is, it takes longer than that just to find the little slips of paper in Karens' purse! So I put it off and get behind so I put it off longer then for some stupid reason I decide to do it and it's such a hassle!

Maybe I should just do it a little bit every day... heh.

My itching is much, much better. It still looks really ugly, though, but I really don't care about that. It's nice to not itch constantly.

Anyway, maybe tomorrow will be more productive... maybe not. I'll know for sure by tomorrow night...

Thanx for being here!
