Natterings, Notions
and
Notes

OK, I confess... my patience is not what it used to be. Last night all three of the kids started whining and I yelled at them all. It was pretty effective, but none of them would speak to me for the rest of the night. O'well, what can I say?

Karen has taken them all out roller-skating (she has, I hope, enough sense not to try it herself... she broke both wrists doing that a number of years ago...) and the house is empty... so I did get a little work done. Cut a board for under the bar and got it mounted. Unrolled the carpet, and it fits perfectly, but I can't put it up because that's a two-person job. So I'll wait for someone else to show their face around here.

I cleaned the kitchen up somewhat, too. Karen was really getting discouraged about how much of a mess three kids can make.

18:38...
I spent some more time this evening with Eileene, working on her web site, showing her how to use CUTEFtp. I think that she's got it well in hand, so I essentially turned it over to her... and she's got some friends who might want me to design their web site for them... for money.

There was a time when I would have jumped for joy, just thinking about doing that... but that was a long time ago. I don't really want to screw up my hobby by doing it for money, do I? No, I don't... not on a regular basis, anyway. But it would be nice to earn enough occasionally to buy a new HD or digital camera or some of the other toys that... interest me. That I can't live without.

Yeah, every little once-in-a-while would probably be OK.

Well, right now Karen and I are kidless... kinda nice, but she's in there watching TV and me... I'm right here, as usual. But there are no kids screaming in the background.

But... they wore Karen out. She's headed for bed though it's only 21:15 or so. And I think that I will follow her... a tiring day, for some reason or another...

Thanx for being here!
