Good sleep, finally. I went to bed about 18:00, and got up around 01:00 for an hour or so, then slept until about 06:00. Got up feeling rested for a change.
Karen and Brian didn't get up until about 07:30, when I was on my second pot of coffee.... and Patrick and Lacee got here shortly before 08:00.
I left to go over to Eileene's and work on a web site for her... pretty productive, we worked until about noon, then I came home and worked some on the graphix for the site and did some tuning up... still got a ways to go, but it's pretty close to being done.
Karen and the kids got home after 15:30, and the boys went down to the creek. Pretty soon, Lacee wanted to go down to the creek with them, and Karen sat down to watch her show. I had gone to get a part to fix the broken light on the fan in the bedroom, and I'd just gotten home when Lacee burst in the door bawling and... you guessed it... wet and cold.
Well, everybody's gotta fall into the creek at least once, don't they? Isn't that some sort of a rule? It is around here, anyway.
I was kinda planning on getting some real work done, but there is no way that will happen with all of the kids running around. Well, I knew that they would be here, so I guess that I was planning on using that as an excuse. Karen could've sent the kids home with Steve, but she wanted them to all be together, for some dumb reason. I guess that's admirable, but... three kids is way too many. So is two, most of the time. One some of the time.
No kids all of the time would be pretty dull, though. So I've heard. I've not personally experienced that for a number of years, things might have changed...
