Last night was one of those rare ones... I was almost bored.
Almost.
Occasionally, we have "Leadership Meetings" when the hospital administrator comes to talk to us. The one last night was the first that I'd been to in more than a year, and it was fairly interesting. Well, I had a front-row seat, so it would have looked really bad if I didn't at least try to look interested...
After sister got done talking, the HR guy had a presentation... I was about ready to nod off when my beeper went off. Excellent timing, I thought.
It rained off and on most of the night, with a mix of snow in there sometimes. We've gotten an adequate amount of rain lately, in keeping with the too-soon development of spring...
Today was payday, so I had to go by the bank on my way home... they don't open until 07:30, so I had to hang around work longer than I really wanted to. I just skimmed my email when I got home, took my pills and went to bed. I slept until 18:30, straight through again... Karen woke me up to tell me that she was going to a hocky game.
Poor Karen... she acquired my cold. She was scheduled off today, luckily, but she's felt bad for the last coupla days. My symptoms are dissapating nicely finally, although I still can't wear the CPAP yet.
OK, I need to eat something, then head off for work. More tomorrow...
