Notes

Well, I never got to the "more" part yesterday... too busy trying to figger out this Linux thing... for those of you in the know about Linux, it's Samba that's giving me the trouble...

I can kinda get it connected to the WIN machines, but not really as well as I want to...

Anyway, that's what I've spent the day today doing, as well as most of yesterday. I think that by the time I get this solved, I will have made every mistake possible using the Samba server. Which is not necessarily a bad thing...

I got to bed about 02:00 last night, adn I noticed that the cat Sam was there. I thought about moving him out and closing the door, but I was almost in bed by that time, and wanting to go to sleep badly.

And, well, I did... sleep badly. But even worse, I woke up sneezing my head off again, sealing Sam's fate re:where he sleeps. It will not be in my bedroom. I think the fact that I'm allergic to him has been adequately proven.

So, I've been sneezing all day, and my nose has been running a mile-a-minute, or is that a quart-a-minute... and I feel like shit in general.

And I need to stay up all night tonight, so I can get some rest tomorrow and go back to work tomorrow night.

I got an email from JD... he'll be coming up on Thursday or Friday. I will be able to spend some time with him on xmas... it's been a few years since he's been here over the holidays, I think. Of course, my memory isn't all that good about things like that.

Karen and Kim are feuding again... I won't bring up the details, since then I would never get any more Fudge... but Kim's wrong and Karen's right. Karen always tells me, "She needs me more that I need her... she'll call me first!"

This usually only lasts a few days, then Kim'll call, and nothing more will be said, just like it never happened. They have an interesting relationship...

It's really cold here today, and I don't think that I like it too much... but it's still better than 100-degree F heat....

I've had a bunch of hits from WEBTV people today, and so have a lot of other journallers... we journallers must've gotten some publicity on WEBTV some way or another... if anyone knows what that's all about, please email me...

More tomorrow...

Thanx for being here!
