A little bit busier night... in fact, really busy until about 01:00.

Nothing hallowe'en-related, though. Just... stuff, mostly. sick people.

We had quite a few kids come by last night before I left for work, but Karen said that the number dropped dramatically after I left... so we have lotsa candy left over, I guess. Which is quite OK with me.

We have a new lady running the night cafe on weekends now, since our two regulars are gone, one of them with surgery and the other one... just gone? Anyway, I got my usual meal, and noticed that I was charged more than normal. I had gotten meat loaf and potatos and gravy. She said that I got an entree and two sides. I said huh-uh, potatos and gravy go together. she said uh-huh! they're two seperate things, like bacon and eggs. I said no they aren't, and stood there and waited... she grudgingly, slowly, counted out some more change and tossed it on my tray.

I always try to remain on the best of terms with everyone, especially cooks... but there is shit up with which I will not put. She crossed that line... and I think that I'm on her shit list, too.

Sometime during the busy time last night I hit my knee on a cart, and it didn't hurt too bad at the time, but now it's really painful... and it's my good knee, too, dammit! So now I can't remember which one to limp on... the weather is changing, and the right knee is giving me fits from that. I just pulled up the pants-leg and looked... I've got a big old bruise on my left one.

O'well... I think that my feet are finally getting over the fascitis, they aren't constantly hurting me anymore, just sometimes... like when I walk on them.

Let's see, what other physical ailments should I talk about today... have I mentioned that my hair is still falling out? It's been doing that for damn near thirty years now. Looks like it'd get it over with...

O'yeah, I might not have mentioned yet that I'm tired... gotta do that every day, too. I think that I'll go to sleep now...

Thanx for being here!
