And it was yet another fun night at the hospital! We had a few MVAs early on, because it was raining and people had forgotten how to drive in the rain, I guess. Nothing serious, but I did have one very amusing patient... a fifteen-year-old girl who insisted that I not let her mother come into the x-ray room. Mom sullenly waited outside the room while I did the films and had the doc check them. When I got her off of the spine board, she told me that her mom was going to drive her crazy, she was so upset. I think that I sympathized more with the mom on this one, but I still wasn't going to let her into the room... it would've taken an hour to do ten minute's worth of films.
As I mentioned, it was rainy, off and on most of the night, and much cooler, too. Really neat fall weather, just right for hallowe'en.
Daylight savings time ends tonight, and I have to work an additional hour. No problem, since I'll be getting paid for it...
I didn't get to sleep until 12:00 noon yesterday, and I got up a little after 18:00, so I'm pretty tired right now... I better get to bed, then, hadn't I?
