And I'm draggin' ass yet again.
I got enough sleep yesterday, but not enough to prepare me for last night... I've never gotten that much sleep...
It was a zoo when I got there, and it remained zoo-like until about 00:30. When I arrived, the main hospital computer system had just come up after being down all afternoon... this, in itself, is enough to generate mass confusion. Additionally, the waiting room for the ED was standing room only... and, naturally, every patient needed an x-ray.
Before I arrived, there had been an MVA with at least five people on spineboards... that's how many spineboards I took out of the x-ray rooms as I was cleaning up, anyway. None of them seriously injured, luckily.
Several people had stayed over to help out, and that was really nice of them, saved me from having to call more people in, anyway.
Anyway, I was worn out after three hours, and I still had nine to go. The rest of the night was easy, though, once I got the paperwork done... but I'm still exhausted, and I'm going to sleep ten hours now.
