Damn, but I'm draggin'!
I got up too early yesterday, then I decided to stay up and watch the Kansas City Chiefs football game. I'm not proud of this... I'm trying to not watch professional sports anymore, but dammit, I'm still a Chief's fan...
Or was, until they got so damned stupid... needless to say, they lost. I didn't see the last two minutes, 'cause I had to go to work, but I heard about them...
I called Karen after I got to work to tell her to remember to bring the begonias in and she told me all about it... anyway, it was supposed to get down to 31F last night, I don't know if it did or not, but I noticed frost on the windshields as I was driving home.
People have been making fun of me lately a lot... I've been wearing reading glasses for a coupla years, and I've always bought those string thingies to wear them around my neck when they're not on my nose. Well, I recently got a really light-weight pair that I really like, and they looked funny with the wide strings. I looked and looked (well, OK, I only looked...) for a more appropriate string, but I never found one. So I took some 20# monofilament and made one.
I really think that it looks pretty neat and fashionable, but I'm the only one who thinks so... but it's very economical. And I like it, so the hell with everyone else. People think that I look pretty stupid anyway, what's one more little thing?
Anyway, I'm really tired, so I'm going to sleep.
