Not a bad night, for a Saturday and with the doc that was on...
Mass confusion when I got there though... one of the tech was throwing a temper tantrum because some of the equipment wasn't working and the doc in the ED was ordering x-rays on overweight people... I had to speak sharply to the guy to get him to straighten out. I hate it when that happens.
We're getting some good rain this morning... I got soaked getting to the garage after work, I should've taken the skywalk but I didn't think of it until I was at the exit then I just thought the hell with it. And it was raining hard enough coming home that the gutters were running full. It's pretty well tapered off now, though, after about an hour of hard rain.
I wound up staying over for a CT patient... it was an ICU patient that they wanted done before 07:00. The kid had been doing well all night, calm and responsive... until we moved him onto the CT gantry. We had to send for more drugs, and finally got him calmed down enough to get the scan.
I'm really glad that this stretch is winding down... three more nights to go... then I'll probably sleep a week... no I won't, I'm going to get some fishing done, dammit.
