It was a busy night, but not hectic... no running, anyway. I stayed over until about 08:30 talking to my supervisor about some problems that she is going to get taken care of...
My life seems to be awfully dull lately. I'm not really sure what's going on, but I've noticed that the things that I've been writing about are pretty dull, too... which only makes sense, I guess. I mean, come on... the welfare spider???
Speaking of which... and why not, indeed... she took her web down completely the night that I last wrote about her. It got pretty cool that night, and maybe she decided to did her a hole for the winter or something. Well, anyway, she was back last night, had her web rebuilt and everything, but it was a pretty sloppy web. Like she was resentful that she had to do it, and damned if she's gonna make it any prettier than absolutely necessary...
And in other news... well, there isn't any other news. I think that I'll go to sleep now. More later...

The lady with the gallopin' pneumonia was doing much better last night, and I hope that when I get back tonight that she's been extubated and sent to a regular bed. It's really great seeing how these wonder drugs work when they work...
I certainly hope that this Friday night is better than last Friday night. Re-reading that entry, I realize that I didn't do a very good job of explaining what a bitch of a night that it really was. Heh... I guess that I was too tired to do a good job...
Any night has the potential to be disastrous, of course, but Friday and Saturday nights are a lot more apt to be fraught with drunk people who get hurt, either by themselves and their own stupidity or by other people's stupidity and maliciousness.
So... up, up and awayyyyyyyyyy.....
I got a good day's sleep with the CPAP... I'd obtained some night-time cough medicine and it seems to work well for day-time sleeping too! I used to use it on a regular basis (probably too regular...) before I started using the CPAP machine. Anyway, it's got a mild decongestant that controls my snot-producing apparatus without raising my blood pressure too much.
