I went back to sleep last night and slept until 05:30 this morning, so I've had plenty of rest. And I feel good, like the rest I had actually worked!
I called my cardiologist this morning and found out that they want me to change the cholesterol-lowering drug, but that they hadn't remembered that they gave me some samples... so it'll be next week before I'll know what he wants me to be on... in the meantime, I got some more samples of the stuff that I was on before.
I decided to change my prescriptions from Walgreens to the pharmacy associated with the hospital, but I found out that my insurance through them (the hospital) doesn't cover prescriptions, so that blew that deal. I'll have to change my insurance in January... the hospital insurance covers twice as much as the policy that I have through Karen, and they give a three-month supply instead of one, so I should save the amount of the policy, anyway.
I decided to go ahead and get the stuff to build the new computer, so I went out and got the motherboard, case, memory and the CPU and a fan for under $400... it's an AMD 450, but they only had 64K of memory on hand, I'll need to get another 64K sometime soon.
So I'll spend this afternoon getting stuff put together and switched around, and I thought that I'd better write this up early and get it on-line, so that it'd be here in case the worst happened and I couldn't get back on-line again today.
First things first, though... I've got to get this room and desk straightened up before I even think about tearing into the equipment.
More later maybe...
