The phone line:
I feel like a fool. It wasn't the incoming line at all... it was a line in the basement with the end laying in a pool of water, shorting out both lines.

Yep, the basement had water. The storm Sunday night knocked the gutter down, then it rained four inches. No gutter=water in the basement. Not really bad, though.

Work: Work was completely cool last night. Never worked up a sweat, even. It was the way it always should be. I got bored and I really enjoyed it.

I did have eight portable chest x-rays in the unit this morning, though. It's been a coupla rotations since I've had that many.

So... my last night was by far the best one, and that is wholly appropriate. I don't even feel the least bit guilty for sitting on my butt all night. They got their money's worth from me this rotation.

As I was driving home, I was thinking about all of the stuff that I'm going to get done today... then I look at the bed, and decide to take a nap.

But it's OK... I only slept an hour, dammit. But that's enough to get me turned around, I think.

In fact, I do believe that I'll kinda make this a day of rest, and just kinda piddle around. I've got to go to the post office and mail some mail to JD... stuff that they forwarded here after he got back to Texas. Then I'm gonna lay back and enjoy the day.

More tomorrow, or maybe later today. Y'never can tell. A good reason to join the reminder list!

Thanx for being here!
