Well... it was a long day, and a good day, and a productive day. One of those rare ones.

I liked it a lot.

I finally got to sleep last night about 20:00, and slept until 06:00 this morning. Made some coffee, and made note that our Bunn is leaking... the sign of death for a Bunn. Need to get a new one.

Started working... got the door hung between the utility room (old kitchen) and the rest of the house. We've kept the cats out since the carpet was put in... but don't worry, it was nice out, they just got really confused.

Karen painted the door while I was doing the carpentry work... she had to put two coats on. While it was drying, we moved the furniture around to what might possibly be it's final positions... but I'm not counting on it.

While the door was drying from the second coat, I went over to a friends house and helped him wipe his HD and installed WIN98, took a coupla hours.19990522.jpg Karen was gone when I got home, she'd talked about going to the store... she got home about a half-hour after I did, laden with good-for-you food. We had port shish-kabobs for supper, along with a big salad, asparagus and garlic bread.

And strawberry shortcake, kinda, for dessert. Instead of cake, Karen employed a trick inherited from her mother Betty... pie crust. So it was more like a strawberry pie, I guess, only the crust was broken up, and topped with non-diary whipped cream.

After supper, we watched Good Will Hunting... I was really impressed. Good movie, but then I've liked Robin Williams in everything that I've seen him do. And, on top of that, I'm easily impressed. Anyway, I wound up with tears running down my cheeks more than once.

And now... now it's really late, and I think that I'll hie myself off to bed... I want to get a lot done tomorrow, too.

Thanx for being here!
