Long day. I was planning on staying up all night last night but I only made it until 02:00 before I had to crash. Besides, I had to take Lacee to the dentist at 16:00 today, so I had to make sure that I was awake for that.

Accomplished zero today. Too much email.

I got up when Karen did, then went back to bed about 09:00, setting the alarm for 15:00... but I was up again by 11:30. Fiddled around, planning to doing things but not doing anything, just planning.

Lacee has... gasp!... FIVE CAVATIES! So she'll get her first drilling done... they're all on baby teeth, luckily. Before I went into the room with her, the assistant told me to not mention anything about needles... the impression that I got was that she really didn't want me to say anything at all, and I mostly didn't. Lacee didn't seem to be upset at all about it.

We got home, and she curled up in the recliner and was watching cartoons. Karen got home about five minutes later, and Lacee was sound asleep.

I moved her over onto the couch and we let her sleep for a while. However, Karen was pineing for an omelette, and I was pretty damned hungry myself, so we tried waking her up to take her home. It took about an hour before we got her home and made it into the Fairlawn Cafe.

Shortly after we got there, it started pouring, and it poured until we were ready to go. Great timing there. After we got home, it started pouring again... I'm afraid to go look in the basement.

I think that I'll try to take a nap until about 23:00, then get up for the rest of the night.
