I got up way too late last night, about 20:15, and I had to be at work at 21:00, so I didn't get anything else done but get dressed and go to work.
And, again, work was not too busy, I wound up doing stuff to fill in the time. Due to our remodeling, not only do I have to walk twice as far to get things done, there are no TVs in the department anymore. We did have two, and I kept one tuned to the weather and the other to CNN headline news. People from the lab were constantly coming in and watching them, though... the radiology waiting rooms were popular places, but that's all over for now.
I was still pretty tired when I got home though... I went right to bed, because Karen had promised me a back rub... so I got my legs rubbed, then a back rub... and I went to sleep, unable to avail myself of any other opportunities that might have arisen...
I forgot to mention, Karen took today off.
I woke up about 15:00, and Karen had really been working... the kitchen and front room had been straightened up, all of the tools put away and everything dusted. She'd been threatening to do that for the last week or two.
I was hungry when I awoke, so I fixed a bowl of cereal and sat down in front of the TV and watched Clinton's press conference. The man amazes me. He reeks with sincerity. I'm convinced that 95% of it is genuine. Sure, he's a sleazeball, like all other politicians, but I think that his heart is in the right place, and he's doing some really good things for our country.
I went back to sleep when the conference was over, but never get really get to sleep again. Got up about 18:00, and here I am.
I need to get the Compaq back on-line again... all of my mail is piling up on the other machine, which I have set to leave the mail on the server, and pretty soon the server is going to get full... so that's my project for before I go to work.
And I've got a month-plus of Keirsey entries to do, probably around sixty of them.
But first, a shower and something to eat...
Have a nice weekend!
More tomorrow...
